Lavish Indian Wedding

We all have heard and read about how lavish indian weddings can be. There are people start worrying about the wedding and wedding expenses as soon as the doctor tells them that they have been blessed with a baby girl. Thus, from that moment on it becomes the responsibility of the father to actually make sure he saves and reserves enough money to get his daughter married.

With the preparation there is a considerable amount of money which is for dowry, yes its still a big part of every fat or slim wedding taking place be it in capital city like New delhi of be it in a small village of mere 50 people. Unlike any other country Indian Wedding in a way are a curse to the people who want to get their daughters married but dont have enough money-dowry to actually secure the future of their daughter in the new home she is about to leave for. It during this time many father actually take loan to make sure the wedding is upto the level that community accepts and not what they can afford.

For other Indian wedding is a way to flaunt and show the kind of power and money they have earned also is a mini festival for all the relatives who would apparently be around for atleast 4-6 functions depending on the arrangements set by the parents of bride and groom. Even the relatives get busy and getting their clothes stitched in most of the cases unless they have some new from some previous function as they want to look really flashy in whatever they wear during these functions. Indian wedding sometimes are also a money making tool for the groom's parent as they would literally give a price they would expect while getting to agree for the marriage. Believe it or not there are marriage , more such casses in non-metropolitan cities, where the bride and groom have least role in questioning or meeting their other half before marriage.

Thus, when we hear about Indian wedding it does cast a doubt as it is it really a blessing or curse as different people would react in different ways depending on the 'budget' they have rather than the actual feeling related to the right crux of this holy matrimonial. You decide!
